Irish Coffee with a Zesty Twist
Here is our twist on a famous cocktail, and it is very simple to make.
Key ingredients are good whiskey and great coffee.
For our version we have opted for our La Casa house blend, combined with the fantastically smooth Slane Irish Whiskey
Ingredients

1 or 2 cubes of brown sugar

120ml of La Casa brewed in a cafetiere

25ml of Slane Irish whiskey

Double cream, lightly whipped
- Zest of an Orange
Steps
- Warm up the glass with hot water prior to making the drink, pour away just before you start
- Place the brown sugar cubes in the bottom of the glass or mug
- Add the coffee and Whiskey, stir until the sugar has dissolved
- Carefully float the whipped cream on top of the drink by pouring it gently over the back of a spoon.
- Add some orange zest on top
- Drink the Irish coffee through the cream and enjoy.
